In this paper, based on the reliability of the control index APPDI under different base asphalt pavement structures, the research on the correlation analysis between the damage of asphalt pavement and the material strength under high temperature conditions is carried out. Relying on the Guangle Expressway as the project, the distribution of APPDI in the pavement structure was analyzed, and the parameters of the asphalt pavement material were optimized by adjusting the cohesion c and tensile strength ?t of the pavement material, and compared with the results of the Marshall test to determine the optimal parameters of the pavement material. Safety and rationality, comprehensive experimental analysis: It is suggested that the design parameters that should be used in pavement design are cohesion of 0.1630MPa, elastic modulus of 681.41MPa, and Poisson's ratio of 0.35. This research can provide a new idea for the design of structural materials for asphalt pavement.
