Author Guidelines

Abstracts should be informative, carefully prepared, with the new insights stressed to enable the Scientific Committee to judge the scientific merit of the paper. If you choose to submit colour figures remember that most printouts from the web will be in black and white. It is your responsibility to ensure that the figures are easy to read and understand even in grayscale mode.

Bear in mind the oficial language of the WCCE11 and its associated events.

  • WCCE11 (English only)
  • II CIBIQ (English - Spanish - Portuguese)
  • XI CAIQ - XXX IACHE (Spanish - Portuguese)
  • PSE (English only)
  • CFD (English only)
  • Lignocellulosic Materials (English only)
  • Plant of the future (English only)

Please adhere to the guidelines and produce a pdf file to upload to the system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that after submitting your abstract, you will not be able to change it. Abstracts not following the instructions of the template will be rejected.

The submission process consists of 5 steps:

1) Selection of the conference where your abstract will be presented. Authors must go through a checklist to verify that their abstract complies with the requirements. They have to confirm that they agree with conference policies regarding data protection and copyright. Please do not forget to state the preferred presentation mode in the "comments to editor" box.

2) Upload the abstract file.

3) Authors must also upload metadata related to their contribution. They include Corresponding author and co-authors names, affiliation and emails, and at least three keywords. The order of authors must be the same in the metadata and in the abstract file and it can be changed during submission but not after. It is the sole responsibility of authors to upload this information in a correct way. Keywords must be provided separately, not as a single field. Authors can upload a short description of their abstract for indexing purposes (Less than 150 words), at their discretion.

4) Confirmation of submission. Before this step authors are allowed to change any component of their submission. Please check everything carefully, especially metadata and author's order before confirming.

5) Authors and coauthors will receive an email confirming that their submission was uploaded.
