Abstract

The problem of MHD flow, heat and mass transfer about a rotating vertical cone in presence of thermal radiation, chemical reaction and heat generation or absorption effects has been investigated. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations have been transformed into ordinary differential equations (ODE) by using suitable transformations and ODEs are solved by using MATLAB’s built in solver bvp4c. Velocity, temperature and concentration profiles of the fluid are presented graphically. A comparison of present results for velocity and temperature is made with the numerical results available in literature and our results are in good agreement.
